Total Wound Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide in-home wound care services in and around Kansas and Kansas City, KS. This role requires a motivated LPN who is willing to travel and drive any distance as needed to reach patients. Key Responsibilities:

•  Perform in-home wound assessments, administer treatments, and change dressings for patients in various locations.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to create and execute personalized care plans.

• Educate patients and caregivers on wound management, care protocols, and preventive techniques.

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, progress, and communication using EMR systems

• Provide compassionate care while building rapport with patients and their families.

• Willingness to drive any distance as requested, ensuring all patients receive timely and consistent care.
  
  Qualifications:

•  Current and active LPN license in Kansas.

• 1-2 years of experience in wound care, home health, or a related field.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

• Proficiency in EMR systems or willingness to learn.

• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

• Flexibility and commitment to travel long distances within Knsas, or at times other areas to provide care.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Wound care certification (WCC or similar) is a plus.

• Experience in home health or wound care settings.
